Feeling Grateful, Improving in Three Levels

Feeling grateful for everything in your life is the result of the way you receive and appreciate what you get. And we got and get much.

"What did you get?"

"And how did you receive and appreciate it?"

I give you an easy way to understand how you can feel grateful for everything in your life as well in the past as the present and most of all for what you will get in the future, by explaining three levels of gratitude.

First level

This level of gratitude is easy. It is about all things you like and appreciate. Little and great things.

Most of the time you say "Thank you" when somebody gives you a cup of coffee. That's polite and I hope you are.

Sometimes somebody gives something unexpected to you, a little thing, and you feel grateful. For instance: Last week I was waiting for the cash desk in the supermarket. A man in front of me gave me the savings stamps that he did not save himself. I was happy surprised and felt grateful.

At this level the way belongs that you receive compliments, presents and all other things you receive daily or on special days like celebrates.

gratitude

How do you let on that you are grateful? When you let on that you are grateful and happy, people will like it to give you something. Because people like it to make someone happy.

So if you are happy with the things you receive, you will get more. Feeling grateful is easy at this level.

Second level

This level of feeling grateful is more difficult.

What do you feel if something is going wrong? What do you feel if somebody is unfriendly to you or angry? How do you feel about difficult occurrences that happened in the past?

I hear you say:"How can you pretend that I should feel grateful in those cases?" I can imagine that you think so. You don't feel grateful for troubles and misery and people who have hurt you.

You resist them, trying to run away as soon as possible from everything and everybody you don't like. Are you complaining and do you believe it is not your fault that those things happen to you?

In that case you think and act like a victim. Even if it is really not your fault, you can learn from it.

But...there is a challenge in every negative happening: you can take your responsibility and learn something from it. And when you recognize what you have to learn you will be grateful.

The benefit is that you become more conscious about yourself and next time you will make the same failure not again. So learn from your negative experiences, then you make them profitable.

However, maybe you have so many negative feelings about some occurrences or people that you will not and can not learn something from what happened. In that case you might need some help to release those feelings and to make you feel better.

Third level

You can achieve this level over time: an attitude of always feeling grateful. If you are on this level you are open to all abundance that is.

You see in each and everything something positive to be grateful for.

You see the abundance of nature: the uncountable leaves on the trees, the uncountable flowers in the pasture, the uncountable amounts of water in the ocean and so on.

You see the amount of love that all people carry within oneself.

You see the infinite possibilities of life and your life.
