Commitment to Your Goal Setting Plan Takes a Decision

Decision making means that you commit yourself to a goal setting plan. If you have set up several plans, now you should choose one that fits you best and that is the best way to your goals. After you make the decision, stick to it.

Deciding is choosing. And choosing is loosing, is said. By that is meant that you "loose" all other possibilities if you choose one. That is why decision making is so difficult. Making a decision takes courage.

Because you know that you should go for it at the moment you make that decision. To go, to act... .

If you have informed yourself well, you have many ideas about how you could achieve your goals. You looked around, looked for examples and models, read books, magazines and websites about the topic of your goals and the way to achieve them and you have spoken with many people about your plans.

You have arranged that information and discovered several approaches. These approaches lead to several possible goal setting plans. Now it is time to decide which of those plans you will perform.

Decision Making

You committed yourself to something you want to achieve and now it is needed to commit to that goal setting plan you decide to act upon in order to achieve your goals. It is the last step before you will take action really.

The decision for a determined plan, a determined performance, is the start of a kind of travel route. You start somewhere, knowing where you want to be and along the road you will see more possibilities, but you will stumble upon adversities too.

You can learn from them, correct them or find an other approach. Sometimes you have to go back, do some things over again before you can go ahead. But never forget to enjoy your journey, to enjoy the process.

If you did not prepare yourself as mentioned above, you can read here why people fail in decision making on a goal setting plan.

However it is important to focus on your goal, you may be flexible in you goal setting plan.
