Setting Steps Where You Are Good At
The twelve steps for personal goal setting outlined on this site are
all skills or personal properties. If there are one or more where you
are good at you could consider to develop these ones professionally or
to make it a hobby.
Your motivation increases when you discover where you are really good
at, sometimes this might be surprising.
If you are good at a particular step it might be an idea to find a job
or a hobby to improve this property. If you like to plan for instance
and are always trying new and better planning tools, it would
be
possible that you would be a good professional scheduler or planner.
If
this example doesn't appeal to you, look for other possibilities based
on one of the other goal setting steps where you are good at.
If you like to imagine and are good at imagination it could be a
challenge to paint or photograph or design.
If you have a great social life and are good at organizing celebrations
and parties perhaps you would like it to be a wedding planner or to do
something else regarding celebrations.
If you have found your own worth, value and confidence it could be
that you like to show this by teaching others, giving seminars,
lectures and writing books.
So if there is something you are good at, naturally or by experiences,
develop this and share. This could be your next goal. Maybe you could
build a website about it.
