Strategic
planning is the step by which you sort all information you gathered
about your goals, to find the best way for you to realize them: your
planning.
By trying out and considering you will know what
to do in which way.
If you followed the other steps
outlined upon this website, by now you have information about:
If you are not
determined, don't plan. First look what is holding you back to be
determined.
You gathered information by speaking
with people, reading books, surfing the Internet, and so on.
So
by now you have an overload of information and likely you are
overwhelmed by it. By sorting this information you will see
different ways to achieve your goals. Or you see ways that fits you
well and others that do not. Dispose of the last.
Then
look at the remained possibilities. Which one will you choose? If you
don't know yet, start to plan. By planning things fell into
place and are getting form. Make different plans, departing from
different possibilities and different future circumstances. Easy to do
with software that holds your imaginations alive too.
By
planning you can check if you are focused enough and if you really want
to turn into reality the desires you have. If you are really committed
to your goals.
Set up a planning tree to break your
goal setting in little steps. You cannot control the future, so plan
flexible, with time to consider new opportunities or to overcome
adversities.
How to wave the time intend to achieve
your goals into all of your other occupations? Use this very good basic setup for a goal setting plan, developed by Stephen Covey.
When
you know
what to do in which way: choose and stick to it.
